Cone Crusher Liners - Introduction

 

The lining plate of the cone crusher is the smashing wall and the crushing wall, which has the function of lifting the grinding medium, grinding the ore and protecting the grinding cylinder. When choosing a cone crusher, users must consider three factors: output, power consumption and wear resistance, generally according to the maximum feed size, particle size change, feed particle size distribution, material hardness, material wear resistance, etc. The principle is to choose, the longer the lining plate, the higher the power consumption, the short lining plate for hard materials, the long lining plate for soft materials, the short lining plate for fine materials and the long lining plate for coarse materials in terms of material distribution.

 

Cone Crusher Liner - Function

 

The function of the lining plate of the cone crusher is to protect the cylinder, so that the cylinder is not directly impacted and worn by the grinding body and the material. It can also use its different working surfaces to adjust the working state of the grinding body to enhance the grinding efficiency. The crushing effect of the material can improve the grinding efficiency, increase the output, and reduce the loss of the medium and the liner.

 

Cone Crusher Liner - Replacement

 

When the lining plate of the cone crusher is not worn to the extent that it needs to be replaced, the tooth plate can be turned around for use, or the upper and lower parts can be turned around for use. When the thickness of the lining plate of the cone crusher reaches 65% to 80%, or when the local wear is concave, deformed and ruptured, it should be replaced. After attaching the liners, check that they are properly centered. If the center is not right, there will be collisions during rotation, and the particle size of the product will be uneven, which will cause problems such as heating of the friction parts in the machine.

 

Cone Crusher Liner - Material

 

The lining of the cone crusher was previously made of high manganese steel and modified high manganese steel, carbon alloy steel and chromium cast iron. Now, in order to improve the service life of the liner, SHM Heavy Industry generally uses manganese steel containing more than 12% manganese, which forms hardening and wear-resistant toughness on its surface under strong impact load.
